Surfacing

The fine art of surfacing was not what I was hoping for, it followed the thing I thought was wonderful, revelatory, but it was nothing, not even worth a note, certainly not worth an argument, why would I argue with you? 

It is important to listen to the things they say are bad about you, the things they find difficult from you, things you may or may not change, may or may not even be unhappy about the things, but it is important to be listened to, and to feel listened to.
