The Woodman and the Serpent

One winter Woodman found Serpent stiff and frozen with cold

Woodman gently cradled Serpent to her breast

Serpent quickly revived from her warmth

As is his nature, Serpent sunk his fangs into Woodman's breast

A fatal wound

And Woodman whispered: Serves me right for pitying a scoundrel.
