In control

I must remember to thank her, she so often, it seems, comes up with the right suggestion to get the best out of the situation, this time it was a game, but yesterday it was a TV programme.  Sometimes she doesn't take control but let's others manage, but I like it when she does.

Karla was a gripping yarn, it nicely drew the tension between the characters, alternating between them for different chapters which allowed the story to move on in two prongs at once. The nicest thing was using the second person for the narration my the alcoholic, alcoholism distances you from your self.

Getting On
