Just polite

It is strange, she is such a lovely person but I am not sure she really wants to get to know anyone any better than she already does.  I think she is content with the person that she is and finds life enough of a struggle to not need to add to it with conserns about more people than she already knows.  But perhaps it is I that is not worth getting to know.  Perhaps it is me that she does not want to put the effort into getting to know.  That she is just polite, and nothing more than just polite.
