When there is no future
Of course it is obvious if you think about it: there is no future when you are dead. Hell, there is no present either. All that exists to the dead is past. And boy do the dead bring their past with them. Most of the dead are completely entrenched in their past. Immersed in their past. it gets a little more confusing and difficult to think about logically when you are told that information still flows when you are dead, but it is only confusing because you are thinking about how the living learns things, and particularly how the living learns things in time and, like a pupil progressing through school, the learning and time are interlinked. Just like the quantum state where contradictory things can coincide, so can information flow in the past for the dead.
