A delightful little chat
There is the cliche of the man taking charge of the journey and not asking directions. Not asking directions as he does not want to seem incompetent. Oh poo foolish man we all think. And the woman who goes not feel the burden of wanting to appear in control asks for assistance and finds out the asking does not subjugate her, in face quite the opposite, she has a delightful little chat that gets her a little further along. A delightful little chat, that is what asking for help is.
