The Dead
He may not be dead, but surely he will be joining his peers soon. That is the pandemic, the old and the infirmed were the first to go, the old, the infirmed and those low in their luck. He does not have a table but stands leaning against the corner of the bar where Aesop can easily place his drink within reach. And Aesop, he too is as old as this pub. He too can't have long to go.
