As long as you are still listening
It was indeed well prepared. We had done our research, settled on a story, worked hard on the script, practiced, practiced and practiced until our presentation was slick, of so slick. We roleplayed out characters creating backstories and learning their responses in situations and scenarios way beyond the presentation. And then we delivered to our small audience, you have to start somewhere, this is true. Our small audience was silent, we did not know if they were listening at all. Then when it was done one of them broke the silence with a story of their own. Then another. And another. And after we wondered if they had come for our performance or to listen to themselves talk. But a week later when they came again we wondered if we cared what their motivation was, we simply decided to keep preparing presentations. Enjoy.
