ix the hermit

Always in a state of flux, here comes the rational thoughts: this is a good situation, it is stable, it is calm, sure there are some inconveniences but are there not always inconvenient things; here come the emotional thoughts: why is that always the choice, do you think I am wrong, or that I deserve this, do you think I should be punished in this continuous way, yes, they are minor punishments but they are daily, sometimes multiple times in the day. And here I am, like the hermit flowing this way with the emotional mind, then that way with the rational mind. And the thing about being in this state of flux is, like the hermit, I am so often alone, meeting only briefly as my state of mind flows past yours.
