Oh ain't that Larkin poem annoying, but it does provide some light relief in a conversation which runs along the lines of admitting to modelling bad behaviour in relationships, but I am not sure the same behaviour was modelled badly for me, or perhaps it was a very similar model but I changed sides. There are many things I have changed side for, done the opposite of expected. I am not sure it has made me happier or sadder, I have no way of knowing who I would be if I didn't change sides.
