Welcome to Aesops Playground, the finest local south of the river. In this pub you will be greeted in the finest traditions; stout, ale, larger, preselected to suit your taste; cider, perry and wines from the quaffable to the delectable; spirits and cocktails from the bartender's bible. You can eat from a rustic food menu or our traditional pub snacks. Let the gentle rhythm and hum accompany your tales for this is the pub for storytelling.

But it is not like that any more.  

Nowadays Aesops Playground is a refuge from the plague.  It is the place these locals have chosen to spend their time now the modern world has unravelled.  It is a place to forget the hardships of daily struggle for food and security since the restrictions became rations, and the rations became severe.  Every person in this place understands this is the last bastion of kindness and laughter, everyone in this place is committed to keeping alive the traditional spirit.
