Collaging together images from the news, or... the time of reflection at the end of a year, at the beginning of a year and a time of mapping the data that has been collated to say this is not the hottest but it was a year that was plagued by heatwaves and wildfires and that the natural variations and reductions in heat masks the pollutants that have made the last few years extra hot.
