The big bad reputation
The naked man before wearing the wolf mask was not always bad, so why the wolf mask? What were the evil deeds that deserved the reputation of the big bad wolf? Was it an event that made the evening bulletin accompanied by wailing and misery, oh the wailing, oh the misery. Was it unjustified like the reputation of the big bad wolf who is, after all, simply following its instinct to satisfy its basic needs of survival?
Was the crime of the personal variety? Was there a documentary on late night television, and occassionaly watched on that streaming channel, exploring the events that linked together to the final crime: the abuses in childhood, the rape, the neglect, the ungainly antisocial behaviour, the eating disorder, the drugs, the alcohol, the depression and psychosis, the event. All shown with vicarious re-enactments and salacious detail ending with a carefully crafted moral judgement to distance the viewer from any form of empathy.
Was the big bad wolf's major crime that of birth and circumstances?
The naked man with the wolf mask lies spreadeagle on the floor in the small hall. Presently the tannoy crackles again: The Shepherd and the Wolf will commence shortly.
