squeezed out
A naked male figure with building, or... they have found themselves unexpectedly squeezed out of their desired as this year's bumper crop has not alwasy translated into the places they were hoping for. With a third achieving the top they are taking a tougher stance by rejecting those who narrowly missed and would have in previous years gained the place. And some have been asked to defer to another year.
